Much needed funds to help keep ACE safe – big thanks to NCF
All the staff and students at ACE extend their thanks to the Norfolk Winter Resilience Fund, via Norfolk Community Foundation, who have given us funding to purchase some much needed Covid-19 focused equipment. The grant, which we received this morning, will be used to buy a multitude of items to help us keep us all as safe as possible from the virus during these challenging times. The key items that have been funded are:
- Two digital signing in systems, to control the flow of people on site and ensure we are track and trace compliant
- Infra-red thermometers, so we can monitor for early signs of infection
- Perspex screening
- Additional PC Speakers and webcams, to help us provide more online and virtual tuition
- Two Hepa Air Purifier/Coolers, to maintain a healthy and comfortable atmosphere in our two newest classrooms
- A fogging machine, which will enable us to more thoroughly sanitise the larger workshop areas in the engineering and construction workshops
This grant has helped us enormously and we are so grateful that we can continue to provide support, training and qualifications in the safest way possible, to as many as possible.
