A brand new vocational subject – Land Based Studies – is coming for our September 2021 annual college programme
Land Based Studies is a brand new vocational subject for ACE – the Pearson BTEC Level 1 Introductory Diploma in Land-based Studies, is a horticultural course. Study Programmes are a full time college equivalent course for 16 to 18 year olds (24 with an Education, Health and Care Plan) and are designed as a one-year programme. Some of the course will be delivered on The Patch, a piece of agricultural land near Salhouse, and covers subjects including soil preparation, planting and cultivation, keeping plants healthy and growing cycles. Suitable for anyone with a love of the great outdoors, this course will help learners develop their skills and can lead to progression to further learning and, ultimately, to employment. As well as the vocational element of the course, there is also functional skills training, enrichment and work experience.
As well as the new subject, we are also still enrolling for Construction, Engineering, Catering & Hospitality and Health & Social Care. Study programmes are funded by the College of West Anglia
Enrolment is currently open for all of the September 2021 programmes. To register an interest, please CONTACT US or to book an informal tour of our facilities, click HERE
