New ACE centre in Great Yarmouth, opening summer 2022
ACE are excited to finally announce that we are expanding and opening a second centre
Following a lengthy negotiation, we are happy to announce that our much awaited second centre will be opening in Great Yarmouth later this summer. We are taking up residence in the premises formerly occupied by Nova Training, situated in Alpha Road, Gorleston NR31 0LQ. This new training centre will deliver the same range of programmes and projects we currently run from the training centre in Rackheath. We will be bringing the premises up to date over the next two months, ready to welcome our new students at the start of the autumn term.
We will be offering a range of different programmes and projects from the new centre, including:
- Study Programmes – A full time equivalent vocational college programme for 16 to 18 year olds (24 with an EHCP). This programme includes an accredited qualification, functional skills, enrichment and sector-relevant work experience
- Alternative Provision for Schools – Bespoke interventions for children in Year 7 and up, focusing on positive behaviours, life skills, study skills and emotional resilience. Accredited learning can also be offered for some age groups
- Employment Programmes – Providing support and practical help to adult jobseekers, the economically inactive, long term unemployed and various minority groups
